Instructional Support Specialist
This position is accountable for providing the student with instructional support needs access to the regular curriculum by working as a liaison between the student, parents, teachers, and administration.
Essential Job Functions
- Confer with parents, administrators, testing specialist, and professionals to develop individual learning plans designed to promote students' educational development.
- Support all staff in understanding the needs of student with disabilities and ensure that the accommodations developed for the student are followed in the classroom.
- Maintain all records of support services for students in the instructional support program.
- Observe and evaluate students' performance in support setting.
- Monitor tests, quizzes and exams for all students who qualify for instructional support services.
- Prepare students for later grades by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of students with a variety of handicapping conditions.
- Provide a structured study hall where assigned students study instead of going to their scheduled study hall class.
- Monitor and file notes from selected student note takers to provide a good model for taking notes and to allow students who were absent or missed notes to have a good
resource to get them.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators in the development, evaluation, and revision of school programs.
- PA State Teaching Certification as described by the Diocese of Harrisburg
- Special Education Certification (desired)

Director of Enrollment and Marketing
The Director of Enrollment and Marketing is responsible for managing all aspects of the student enrollment and marketing process. The position is also responsible for the development and management of marketing plans and materials for Delone Catholic High School working in conjunction with those faculty and staff members within designated target areas. The successful candidate in this role will coordinate internal stakeholders, including students, administration, faculty, staff, parents, alumni and board members, to assist in the marketing process.
Increase enrollment to meet annual targets established by the Board of Directors by identifying and moving prospective families through the enrollment funnel utilizing direct marketing, public relations, and personalized attention
Manage all aspects of enrollment including Open House events, family tours and student shadow days
Act as primary contact for families, feeder schools, and Maryland partners
Work closely with the Board and Administration on long-term vision and strategic goals for enrollment
Solicit feedback from current families as well as those choosing to transfer out of Delone
Coordinate efforts to retain current students and families
Coordinate media impressions through the school’s website, social media, press releases and other advertising.
Develop and post web content including alerts, articles, videos and photos
Responsible for media buying and staying informed of new marketing trends and patterns
Coordinate the school’s presence at community events for both community awareness and enrollment endeavors
Define and enforce branding guidelines to ensure consistent messaging about DCHS
Implement, evaluate and create strategic marketing objectives
Manage the Student Ambassador and Parent Ambassador programs to assist with enrollment efforts
Educate and train administration and board members to participate in the enrollment process
Engage and involve current families and alumni in enrollment efforts
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field is required. A minimum of four years’ relevant experience is desired. Candidate must demonstrate solid knowledge of marketing principles, developing and executing strategies, and project management. Strong communication skills, including business writing, verbal, and presentation skills, are required. Proven collaboration, interpersonal and relationship management skills are necessary. Knowledge of Adobe programs or graphic design capabilities, or the ability to learn independently, is necessary. Qualities required for success include a proactive approach, customer service orientation, cooperative and collaborative mindset, flexibility, attention to detail, comfort with public speaking and representing the school, and the ability to plan and prioritize effectively.

The position of Technology Coordinator requires a person who is both technically trained and able to adjust to new situations and technologies. The Technology Coordinator should have an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related program with 5-7 years of experience. Individuals with other majors, but appropriate background experience may also be considered.
The primary skills required are a good working knowledge of the following: Microsoft Server 2012, Active Directory, Group Policy settings (MCSA or better is preferred), Microsoft Server 2008 R2, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10, VMware, Microsoft Office 2010 and 2016, wireless networking, troubleshooting and repair of Intel based computers and Chromebooks, MMS Generations, GoGuardian, Cisco SG-200 and SG 300 switchgear, Google Apps for Education (especially the Administrative Console).
Applicants should have or be able to prove the equivalent of a Comp TIA A+ and Network+ certification, and should possess a basic understanding of fiber optic cable and networking using fiber optics. Prior use of Lightspeed content filter and Sophotos Anti-Virus is a plus.
Other valuable skills include interpersonal, writing, project management, budget, and the ability to work independently and take on new assignments. The Technology Coordinator must be able to use hand tools, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
All Delone Catholic employees must be able to pass and maintain clearances as required by the Diocese of Harrisburg. The Technology Coordinator must also abide with and communicate Diocesan Policies concerning technology.
The position is currently part-time with the possibility of becoming full-time. Hours are flexible but primarily during the school day of 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
