  • Students Participate in York County Science and Engineering Fair

Five Delone Catholic students recently participated in the York County Science and Engineering Fair (YCSEF) held at Penn State York.  This is the first year that Adams County schools have participated in this fair instead of the Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair (CASEF).  The statewide fair directors made this change so CASEF could be expanded northward to ensure that all school districts in PA were able to participate in a regional fair.

Lucy Rogers ‘20 and Madison Sieg ’20 took a third place award with the team project “How Do Aerosols Vary in Different Regions?”

Lanquin(Michelle) Cao ‘18  also took a third place award for “The Effect of Different Carbohydrates on Type 2 Diabetes Patients.”

Kristen Landsman ‘18 received Honorable Mention for “How Does Music Affect Blood Pressure and Heart Rate?”

Clayton Hillson ‘19 received a first place award for “Does Scholastic Performance Influence Health Among Children?” Clayton also received a special fair-wide award for use of mathematics in his research. This is the second year in a row that he has been called back for a second day of interviews to contend for Grand Champion.

    Congratulations!
