The Athletic Department at Delone Catholic High School plays an integral role in fulfilling the school`s mission "to challenge students spiritually, academically, physically, socially and aesthetically." Through athletics, our students condition both their bodies and their minds. They learn leadership skills, teamwork and discipline. Our coaches hold athletes to high standards of academic excellence and personal character. As a result, our student-athletes consistently experience success on and off the playing fields.

Information for Spectators
At the conclusion of all home athletic events this year we are asking all spectators to remain off of the playing surface, either the gym floor or athletic field. Parents are urged to greet their son or daughter in the gym lobby following the contest. All food and drinks must be consumed in the gym lobby or cafeteria, not in the gym. Kindly dispose of all trash in the appropriate receptacle as you leave the school. Delone Catholic is a tobacco-free campus, which includes all playing fields and parking lots. Animals are not permitted on school property, with the exception of service dogs. Your cooperation in these matters is appreciated and will help us to maintain the integrity of our athletic facilities.

Delone Catholic continues to emphasize good sportsmanship from our coaches, player and spectators as our athletic contests are played for the benefit of the student-athletes. Handheld signs, banners, noise makers and laser pointers are not permitted and spectators must remain seated during play.

Schedule Changes/Inclement Weather
The school website,, should be your first stop for up-to-the-minute information regarding athletic events and school activities when bad weather occurs. This will save a phone call to the school and free the school’s telephone for other calls. Information will also be broadcast on the local radio stations when questionable weather is a concern.

Sports Medicine
High school sports contribute significantly to Delone Catholic's mission to challenge students in all aspects of life. The safety of our student athletes is of the utmost importance to our school community. Therefore, we employ a part-time sports trainer on staff. Our trainer also educates student volunteers to assist with sports training at our practices and athletic contests. Please check here frequently for information about sports safety.

For questions or concerns, please contact our trainer, Jenn Sherdel.
The Delone Catholic Broadcast Network streams an increasing number of school and athletic events live online. To find out what is coming up, click here to access the live stream and the DCBN broadcast schedule.
