Transportation Services at Delone Catholic

Delone Catholic High School, with the contracted services of E & B Transportation Company, provides several services for the school and its families, including:

  • Bus service for Maryland, Upper Adams and Fairfield students (for a fee)
  • Coordination of bus and van transportation to athletic events and field trips
  • Distribution of transportation information to DCHS families from Pennsylvania and Maryland school districts
The purpose of the Transportation Service is to provide affordable, safe transportation for the students of Delone Catholic High School. Delone Catholic, through E & B Transportation Company, services major communities in the Northern Maryland area (Carroll County), Upper Adams, and Fairfield. Although it is not possible to provide door-to-door service, seven bus stops are located near major business routes or at local churches that allow students to use their facilities as bus stops. Service hours are scheduled to meet the needs of Delone Catholic students and may change from time to time to accommodate delayed openings and early dismissals. Elementary school students from the Northern Maryland service area are welcome to contract for service (on a space available basis) to the elementary schools in our service area.

The Registration form and $100 deposit must be returned by July 1 to receive the rates listed above. Short-term rates require 72-hour advance notice.

Payments due by Aug. 1 and Dec. 1

Short Term Plan
Payment due 72 hours before service

Late payments will incur a $25 late fee after a five-day grace period.

Pick-Up/Drop-Off Policy

McSherrystown Borough Ordinance 2007-1 provides a pick-up/drop-off zone at the main entrance of the school on South Oxford Avenue for all students who are transported by anyone other than a student driver. Maintaining the parking lot, its entrances, and adjacent curbs for student drivers is necessary to provide safety for them and their passengers. Those drivers who blatantly disregard this ordinance are subject to fine. Also, students are reminded to cross the street at crosswalks. No one should attempt to cross the street between the buses on Delone Avenue.
