College Credit Opportunities

At Delone Catholic, we make sure our Squires hit the ground running. Whether you want to stay in a favorite classroom or branch out online, there are three distinct pathways to earn college credit before graduation (provided the college you choose accepts AP®/transfer credit: 

  • Advanced Placement® (AP®) | Challenge yourself with a nationally recognized curriculum. By taking AP® courses at Delone Catholic or on Virtual High School (VHS), students can secure college credit based on their AP exam performance and the specific credit policies of their future college or university.  
  • College in the Classroom (CIC)  | Stay right here on campus. This program allows students to earn college credit for approved courses taught by our own qualified faculty. It’s the Delone Catholic environment they know, with the academic rigor of a college syllabus.
  • Dual Enrollment (DE) |  Broaden your horizons with online coursework. This flexible option allows students to take classes directly through partner colleges, earning elective credits toward their Delone Catholic diploma and transferable college credits simultaneously. Courses from colleges or universities not listed on the school's list of college credit opportunities must be approved by the Delone Catholic department chair.  Grades from these courses do not count toward the Delone Catholic GPA.
