Educational Technology

With technology evolving exponentially year by year, today's Squires may very well be preparing to work in careers that do not even exist yet. Delone Catholic is committed to providing students with opportunities to develop technical skills, while thinking critically about how to use technology ethically and efficiently to create, communicate and collaborate. Delone Catholic High School provides each student with a Chromebook to use at school and at home. Students are also provided with a GSuite account that includes a school email address and cloud-based applications. Students use applications such as Google Classroom, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drawing, and Google Keep to utilize in the classroom and in extracurricular activities. Students are introduced to other, discipline-specific applications in their classes.

In addition, a variety of Computer Technology and Tech. Ed. classes offered at Delone Catholic and through the Virtual High School prepare students for life in the 21st century.
