Athletics

"Tradition doesn't graduate," is a popular phrase spoken by our Squires, coaches, and fans. Put simply, it means that year after year, each and every player represents not only their own effort, grit, talent, and determination, but that of every player ever to wear the Squire colors. Becoming a part of that legacy requires self-discipline, practice, and school pride. Athletics at Delone Catholic High School play an integral role in fulfilling the school`s mission "to challenge students spiritually, academically, physically, socially and aesthetically." Through athletics, our students condition both their bodies and their minds. They learn leadership skills, teamwork and discipline. Our coaches hold athletes to high standards of academic excellence and personal character. As a result, our student-athletes consistently experience success on and off the playing fields.

*Delone Catholic is classified as a non-swim school by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA). Swimmers who meet qualifying standards are eligible to participate in postseason competition.
