As Lent begins, the Delone Catholic Spiritual Life Office is sharing resources to enhance your spiritual life and draw you deeper into the mystery of Christ's salvation. Please reach out to Campus Minister Kate Phenicie if she can be of assistance during this holy season of conversion!

Hanover Area Arts Guild Student Art Reception

The Hanover Area Arts Guild's 44th Annual School Show celebrates talent, creativity, and hard work displayed by the students. This event brings together students, teachers, parents, and the community to showcase the amazing artistic abilities of young minds. The School Show is a platform where students can shine and express themselves freely. It's a reminder of the importance of art education and its impact on shaping well-rounded individuals. As the community gathers to witness the incredible talents on display, let these young artists be encouraged and supported in their creative endeavors.

Work from Delone Catholic artists Cecilia Lippe '25, Kathryn McCall '27, Layla Mohning '26, Elizabeth Smith '25, and Lara Weir '27 will be on exhibit as part of the show.

The exhibit can be viewed during Youth Art Month, Tuesdays through Sundays, March 5-21 from 12-5 p.m. at the gallery at 32 Carlisle St. in Hanover, Pa.

Peyton Walker Foundation and Delone Catholic Athletics

The Peyton Walker Foundation is once again prioritizing the hearts of students in Central Pennsylvania. The Foundation will be donating 35 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to PIAA schools across the region, including Delone Catholic. Valued at nearly $75,000, the impact of this donation event is extraordinary!

At Delone Catholic, the new AED, valued at over $2,100, will equip the outdoor athletic facilities.

Delone in the Dark

The Squire Ambassadors will host their annual “Delone in the Dark Nights” for students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. The popular event will include games, food, prizes, and the popular scavenger hunt in the dark. This is a great opportunity for area middle school students to meet one another and become familiar with Delone Catholic. Students do not have to attend a Catholic school to participate. Participants are encouraged to bring their friends.

New this year, the boys' and girls' nights are combined into one Delone in the Dark event on April 4 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Registrations must be received by March 28. There is no cost to participate in this year's event. Please contact Mrs. Matt Thomas at admissions@delonecatholic.org or call 717-637-5969 ext. 226 with questions.
