As the 2024-25 school year began, Mrs. Kayla Wedlock assumed the role of Delone Catholic's Dean of Students with a warm welcome from students, faculty, staff, and school leadership. She replaces Mr. Timothy Bonitz, who has left DCHS to work at his alma mater, Susquehannock High School.
Mrs. Wedlock is a dedicated and passionate professional with a strong academic background and extensive experience working with adolescents. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Shippensburg University and a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from National University. With over six years of hands-on experience in residential and community settings, Kayla has successfully supported high school students in their personal and academic growth. Her commitment to empowering youth and fostering positive environments reflects her deep understanding of the challenges young individuals face today.
Delone Catholic High School is grateful for the support of its many benefactors, including alumni, parents, businesses, the nine parishes of the Adams Deanery of the Diocese of Harrisburg, and parishioners of the many Catholic churches represented in our school community. The School invites all to read our 2023-24 Annual Report.
Every fall, the College Board’s Advanced PlacementⓇ Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple APⓇ Exams. Twelve members of the Delone Catholic Class of 2024 earned recognition as APⓇ Scholars, APⓇ Scholars with Honors, or APⓇScholars with Distinction.
Delone Catholic is proud to celebrate the accomplishments of these students and their teachers.
