Tri-M Music Honor Society Inducts Newest Members

On Sunday, Nov. 9, in a ceremony held in the Delone Gymnasium, Delone Catholic's Chapter T8556 of the Tri-M Music Honor Society inducted ten new members. The ceremony included performances by the new members. 

The new members include: Abigail Chaney '28, Andre Dang '26, Lia Fleming '27, Annemarie Frizzell '28, Cierra Graen '26, Isabella Kolb '28, Genevieve Ricucci '28, Brooke Strausbaugh '26, Josephina Switzer '28, and Gwyneth Yanike '28. 

Continuing members of the Tri-M Honor Society include: President Timothy Martz '26, Vice President Ella Smith '26, Secretary Ann King '27, Catherine Donnelly '26, Ashley Heacock '27, Lillian Krug '27, Monica Martz '27, Ivy Nieves '26, Keira Slonatker '26, Bailey Stetter '27, and Micah Ryleigh Stouter '27.

The Tri-M Music Honor Society is advised by Mr. Brian Yealy '79 and Mrs. Lynn Yealy '84.

The Tri-M Music Honor Society is a program of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), focusing on developing future leaders in music education and music advocacy. With more than 2,100 chapters across 50 states and 15 countries, Tri-M is the only music honor society for junior/middle school and high school students in the United States.

Tri-M recognizes students who have gone above and beyond in both academics and music, and provides them with leadership opportunities to make a difference in their community through music-based service projects. Each year, student members contribute more than 750,000 service hours to their school and local communities and raise nearly $1 million for causes they care about.
