Delone Catholic Plans 85th Anniversary Celebration

Delone Catholic High School is thrilled to announce plans for a special Mass and reception to commemorate the 85th Anniversary of its dedication and opening. This significant milestone will be celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2025, with Mass and a reception, bringing together generations of Squires, faculty, staff, families, and community members.
The anniversary celebration is a testament to Delone Catholic's enduring legacy of faith-filled education and its profound impact on the lives of countless students over more than eight decades. The event aims to honor the school's rich history, traditions, and its ongoing commitment to providing a holistic and enriching high school experience.
"Our 85th Anniversary is a moment to reflect on the incredible journey of Delone Catholic High School and to give thanks for the blessings we have received," said Director of Advancement Eric T. Lawrence '98. "We invite all members of our extended Delone Catholic family – alumni, current students, past and present faculty, parents, and friends – to join us in this joyous celebration of our shared heritage and bright future."
The schedule for the day will be:
- 10:30 a.m. | 85th Anniversary Mass in the Lawrence B. "Sonny" Sheppard, Jr. Memorial Gymnasium
- Following Mass, a reception will be held in the Delone Gym, providing an opportunity for fellowship, reminiscing, and connecting with fellow Squires. Light refreshments will be served.
