Four #SpeakingSquires Place at PHSSL State Tournament

At the PHSSL State Tournament at Bloomsburg University on March 15-16, Delone Catholic came in 10th in the Speech Sweepstakes. Senior Riley Slee placed second in Poetry and freshman Carli Hutchinson placed fourth in dramatic interpretation. The team of Emily Flynn '24 and Matthew Leon '24 placed fifth in News Broadcasting.
Semifinalists included Julia Miller '26 (Prose), Aidan Tringali '27 (Impromptu), and Gabriella Erdman '24/Maggie Murry '24 (Duo Interpretation). Also qualifying for the state tournament were: Maria Marchak '27 and Kali Hilfiger '26 (Humorous Interpretation), Annie Woolford '25 (Dramatic Interpretation), Dante Tapia Pujals '24/Kaiden Miller '24 (Duo Interpretation), and Collin Kuhn '26 (Storytelling).
