Resources for Lent
Updated

As Lent begins, the Delone Catholic Spiritual Life Office is sharing resources to enhance your spiritual life and draw you deeper into the mystery of Christ's salvation. Please reach out to Campus Minister Kate Phenicie if she can be of assistance during this holy season of conversion!

  • Download the Hallow app! They have a great Lent program - #pray40. They also have a variety of other resources in their library - everything from daily Gospel reflections and meditations for sleep and anxiety to music playlists and examinations of conscience. Promos have been spotted on Instagram that offer a free trial, so check that out.
  • The Ascension app is free for Lent and features a program on overcoming the seven deadly sins with Fr. Josh Johnson.
  • Word on Fire is also offering a Lent retreat with Fr. Boniface Hicks.
  • Listen to DCSpiritualLife's Lent playlist on Spotify or this other Lenten playlist that is a personal favorite.
  • Listen to announcements for information on Stations of the Cross on Fridays. These will be offered at different times of the day throughout Lent to allow for different schedules and availability.
  • Sign up for a time to spend in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament during our Lenten Day of Adoration on March 13. Adoration will also be offered during lunches on Fridays throughout Lent. See the poster outside the Our Lady, Queen of Peace Chapel for more information and updates.
  • See this list of God-centered things to do for Lent.
  • Sign up for a free account on Formed.org and access one of their many Lenten programs!
  • Chose a different intention for every day of Lent.
