Henny Noel Memorial Golf Tournament

The Spirit of a Squire honors our past and provides for our future.  

The Henny Noel Memorial Golf tournament started in 1994 when emotions were still very raw following Henny’s sudden passing on Dec. 29, 1993. He is still missed tremendously by not only his wife, children, and grandchildren, but also by his extended Delone Catholic family. Henny was a 1946 DCHS graduate, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a member of numerous local civic and fraternal organizations. He was a fixture in the school’s maintenance department from 1958 until his retirement just days before his passing. As someone who cared deeply about the students at Delone Catholic, Henny would likely be humbled to know that so much good has come about because his family and friends wanted to honor his memory. To date, this event has raised more than $270,000 to provide tuition assistance to students attending Delone Catholic. We are so grateful to everyone who has participated in this event, and we invite you to be a sponsor, golfer, or volunteer as we celebrate Henny’s life with a great day for a great cause!

Now Registering Sponsors for 2025

All sponsors will be recognized on the sponsor signboard at the course and in the tournament program, listed in the fall edition of The Squire, which has a circulation of more than 12,000, and highlighted on the school’s social media channels, with an audience of nearly 5,000 followers. This year, sponsors will also be included on a 30th Year memorial plaque to be hung in the school. Sponsorship registration must be received by April 1 to guarantee foursome reservation. Sponsors at all levels may provide promotional materials by June 6 to be included in golfer registration bags.
