I've been in marching band for years, and I've always enjoyed the experience. Personally, marching band has helped me to grow as a musician and a person. It involves a lot of physical and mental effort, but it definitely pays off on the field. Plus, we get to play excellent music, visit other schools, and meet other great musicians. If you're interested in joining an ensemble to develop your musical skills and have a good time with friends, I highly recommend Delone Catholic's Marching Band. ~ Timothy Martz '2
Marching Band was a fantastic experience for my daughter who has played flute for 4 years now. She made new friends, learned new skills, improved her time management, and had TONS of fun. The kids who participated got along well and supported each other as they worked together to create an entertaining field show. Mr. Mummert is creative, organized, punctual, and thorough. The DCHS Marching Band has a long-standing tradition of successful musicians and I'm excited that my daughter is now a part of this impressive organization. Highly recommended for any level musician.
